This review is
focused on the causes and problems associated with enteral feeding in these children and the possibilities for overcoming them. Feeding with mother’s own milk and adding various nutrients helps with better tolerance. The combination of intrauterine malnutrition and postnatal feeding difficulties has been linked with later adverse metabolic consequences in these patients. Optimizing enteral nutrition in preterm neonates with intrauterine growth restriction is a challenging issue for clinicians, despite advances in neonatal care.
Key words: nutrition, preterm, fetal growth restriction

To access this content, you must purchase Годишен абонамент.

Bibliography

1. Kosmeri C, Giapros V, Rallis D. et al.
