Xроничен хепатит B – лечение на майката, превенция на новороденото

Резюме

Предаването на вируса на хепатит В (HVB) от майка на дете, често срещано в ендемичните страни, обуславя  около 40-50% от хроничните HBV инфекции в световен мащаб. Затова блокирането на предаването е значителна стъпка към елиминирането на хепатит В. Проучването представя случай на успешно профилактирано момиченце, родено от майка с хронична HBV инфекция, диагностицирана по време на бременността. Предписана й е антивирусна терапия през последния триместър. Детето е проследено от авторите и е с доказана  защита срещу HBV. Събрани са  епидемиологични данни за контактите в семейството. Резултатите разкриват източника на инфекцията – бабата на бебето с хронична HBV инфекция.
